Overall, there’s little question that the Sony A33 has the best video AF of any interchangeable-lens camera currently on the market, but if you plan on doing much video recording, I’d suggest you also plan on buying an accessory external microphone to record the audio.
1. A hot-neutral reversal will supply the 208/240V relay with 120V. It will make an angry buzzing noise but won’t close. Two hot-neutral reversals will supply it with 0 volts.
In college, I was playing with our nitrogen laser which had a huge exposed Blumlein discharge capacitor. So large that a bottle with fluorescent die had been set on it. While the laser was running, I picked up the bottle, and received several 20-30kV discharges to my hand. The exit was my bare feed on concrete. I was able to count the hits afterward, because each one left a small burn mark on my hand. That hurt.
Sometimes you’ll get a zap across your hand, maybe even a horrible burn. But I like those odds compared to you touched live and it routed current through your heart!
Youtube helpfully suggested this teardown of (apparently) the same relay. Who knows if any of these are fake.
The list of absolutely required tools is missing the appliance tester. e.g. something like this http://www.fluke.com/fluke/m2en/Products/category.htm?Category=PAT or https://www.gossenmetrawatt.com/english/ugruppe/testingofelectrappliances.htm
I believe two-man saws bite both directions. And if they don’t, then pretend that they do for the analogy.
Both elements weren’t on….elements in electric HW heaters are cascading…they cannot come on simultaneously. Bottom element is powered through normally closed side of upper element relay. Therefore, if upper element is on, lower element is off.
As it stands now, Republicans need Flake’s vote to pass any nominations out of the 11-10 Judiciary panel for floor consideration. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell does have the ability to simply move these nominations himself, but so far he has not seemed interested in making this practice a habit.
I forgot to say that 220 volt AC is effectively 310 volts peak, so therefor one could instead use 300 volts DC instead, giving roughly 25% less current to carry in the wires to get the same power in the end.
If I was working on your bedroom lighting and an outlet in your basement stops working a few days later, that’s just a coincidence. I’ll come back for the second project, but don’t expect me to do it for free because I “broke” it the last time. If I wasn’t working with that circuit, this new problem is unrelated.
I don’t know who all of you people are, but stop being ridiculous. This guy made an ESP8266-based TRIAC switch, and gave the design away for free. He has ample warnings on his web page about this project. I encourage anyone who wants to use this design to research the subject thoroughly to make sure they understand what they’re doing.
