Burst depth for the Sony A33 is seven Raw or Raw+JPEG frames, and 16 Fine or 20 Standard JPEG frames in a burst. That’s quite a bit less than the A55, which can capture twenty Raw or Raw+JPEG frames, while JPEG shooters can expect 35 Fine or 39 Standard-compression frames, but in our experience, the Sony A33 makes up for this deficit somewhat by clearing its buffer much faster. This means that although the A55 will get you more shots in a burst, the A33 will be ready to start another burst much sooner.

Steady in the dark. The Sony A33′s Handheld Twilight (HHT) mode uses multiple shots and micro-alignment to permit handheld exposures even in very dark conditions. This was a very dark bar scene, but the shot came out sharp enough for a 5×7 print. It could have used some exposure adjust and (definitely) a different white balance setting. Exposure is auto-only in HHT mode, but the similar multi-frame NR mode gives full control.

BTW, one can’t just put in a big red button and call it Emergency Isolation Switch. At least in an industrial setting a Emergency Stop follows strict guidelines which include possible damage to the machine from using it. There are rules and regulations for how these are wired, where they are placed, etc. One doesn’t just run mains power through it. Typically these are low voltage switches that cut power to coils of high current contactors and relays.

Now that’s something … And for other commenters: of course exposed mains voltage is dangerous, lethal even. But why would it need to be exposed? It could be made like Davic’s hack, or in countless other ways that are safe. Hide heating element under thermal mass, use secure connectors and proper grounding.
