I learned British version of English, but my accent is all over the place. I also speak a bit of Spanish, Portuguese, Latin and a tiny bit of German. I can swear in Russian too, because my wife knows that language. And don’t forget my native tongue, which is Polish.
Historically, there were two post-war electric utilities, and one contracted with GE for equipment, and the other contracted with Siemens – thus the two wound up with different frequencies.
Very nice. It’s similar to my Toast-R-Reflow power board (though that one has two channels and uses BTA-20s).
FreeSync is available on the NU8000, Q6FN, Q7FN, Q8FN, and Q9FN. Once you’ve installed the latest firmware on one of those TVs, you can find it under Game Mode in the settings menu.
I’m confused… “Wire up the outlets for your mining rigs for 240 instead of 120”, shouldn’t you rig it up to use whatever enters your home. Apparently there is a choice, how is that possible, do they run their own generators over there?
And keep in mind that EVSEs are a continuous duty device. As such, you need to derate them from the circuit’s rating by 20%. So you should only use 12A on a 15A rated circuit. And you should only do that if you’re confident that there’s nothing else pulling significant current on EITHER circuit besides your EVSE.
If your electrical panel can’t handle a Level 2 EVSE then chances are it needs replacement anyway. Putting in my ClipperCreek was the push I needed to finally do what I should have done 20 years ago which was to replace my 1960s panel with a modern one. The new panel is much safer than the old one and having a permanent LVSE is increadably convenient. You have a $50-$60K car, it makes no sense not to spend $1K on an EVSE, you paid more than that for the paint on your Model 3. I spent $40K for my Volt, before Fed and State rebates, so another 1K to buy and install a CC was nothing and likewise the $2800 I spent on the new 200A panel isn’t a lot when compared to the price of a Chevy let alone the price of a Tesla.
Back in the day the UK before EU harmonisation the nominal single phase domestic voltage was 240V ac and within a range of +10% and -6% ie 264V and 225.6 V Under EU harmonisation it is 230V +10% and -6% ie 256 V and 216.2 V. I can assure you that voltage control at Primary substations in the UK 33KV/11KV was lowered to the new nominal for the nominal voltage at secondary substations 11KV/415V/230V. A good thing really as it saves energy
AEDs? As in Adhesive Explosive Devices?!? Hey, don’t come any closer! You keep that thing away from me, you hear?!?
1. Metal-oxide varistors (MOVs) are available in a variety of form factors and sizes for a broad range of applications. The radial leaded disc type is the most common version.
On Demand Refrigerant Safety Classes A2L and A3 have a very low GWP, making them a strong, long-term solution for many HVACR applications. However, these refrigerants are classified as mildly flammable and highly flammable respectively. This flammability class raises safety and compliance concerns. This webinar will help you understand these classes, along with the opportunities these refrigerants can offer.
I play around w/ HV/low amperage PSUs all the time, that stuff will make you lose control of your muscles…
